The purpose of this workshop is to orient the participants to Google Sites to create e-portfolios aligning common curricular assessments to the Common Core State Standards.

Participants for this workshop will include high school faculty and administrators.

Create and publish a professional portfolio to the Faculty Directory using Google Apps including:
CV
professional photo and introductory statement
courses taught
record of professional development & reflections*
Professional Improvement Plan (PIP for evaluation)
Align common assessments with the Common Core State Standards
Develop a template for learner portfolios based on courses/subjects.

The Google Apps Suite was recently adopted by RHHS (Fall 2011). All faculty are proficient with the use of the e-mail app; however participants significantly vary in their understanding and ability to use many of the other productivity apps available, including Google Docs, Google Groups, Google Sites, Blogger, Google Calendar, etc., and their collaborative capabilities.
